Ok, cool. Hmm I wonder where I saw the symptoms that I was seeing and how long ago it was. I personally have done most of my work on Slackware sense Slack' '96 and I've been very happy with it. All be it that for some of the more advanced things I've done I end up throwing rc.inet1 out the window and writing my own. However on and off through out the years I have tried other distros and it may have been one of them or even a different unix that showed the symptoms in question. Who knows. At least we are on the same wave length.
