As I recall we used VSX-lite, some internal programs in the NGPT tree,
and tests that were written by the OSDL CGL validation team. Since then,
the LTP project has matured and I think was where a lot of the CGL and
other tests now live. I haven't looked in a while, but I would start
with LTP. The glibc-2.3.2/nptl source directory also has a large number
of tests used to exercise the nptl POSIX thread interfaces, this should
also be useful if this is being done for a new port.

Hope that this helps.

Thanks,
Dave Howell

Subject: [pthreads-devel] Test programs for pthreads

Hi,

About NGPT, it is said that "fairly extensive testing" has been done.
Would you mind describing which test programs have been used ?
Do you think they could be reused for testing NPTL ?

Thanks,

Amicalement/Regards,
