Hallo list! I just tried to compile and use NGPT on an old glibc 2.2.5 system after my last glibc 2.3 related patches but found, that the compiler on this machine didn't like the position of the libc_internal_tsd_set&libc_internal_tsd_get function prototypes (between 2 statements and not outside a function or at the begin of a block). So I post again this patch. With this correction I could compile and use the same NGPT source+patch files with glibc 2.2.93 (RedHat 8.0) and glibc 2.2.5 (SuSE 8.1). Will some of my patches appear sometimes in an official release? Currently I maintain a list of 8 patch files to make NGPT 2.0.3 usable for me. BTW, there is another problem with the thread_db library and gregset, if I compile it under RedHat 7.1 with a new 2.5 kernel. I'll look into it.
