This is an old problem that was originally corrected back in 2.4.14 but for
some reason got left out of 2.4.18. We've only recently discovered this
and have resubmitted the patch and it's been accepted and will be in 2.4.19
when that becomes final.

Sorry, you spent so much time working trying to find this problem. We
thought (erroneously) that the patch would be back ported back to 2.4.18
and therefore obviate the need for NGPT to post a fix.

In the future, this kind of thing will not happen. We'll ensure that any
patches required to run NGPT will be posted on the website and an
announcement will be sent.
