NGPT-2.0.0 smoke test failed

I just got back today and got to start looking at 2.0.  After running
through my smoke test, I noticed that running a 'test_str02 -l' fails. 
I'm not sure if this is a problem, but it has not failed in this same
way before.  It seems to fail sometime after creating over 24000 threads
on pthread_attr_init() with a return of ENOMEM.  This is on the same
2-way P3-300, 512 MB ram machine I've been testing on and it's the first
time I've seen it do this with the test_str02 test running by itself.
