I would go with the latest patch for the 2.4.19 kernel: patch-futex-2.4.19-2.0.3-2.gz As the ngpt support applies generally to the thread group implementation and futexes are new, no there is not a config flag. Once you patch the kernel that should do it. Dave Howell These are my opinions and not official opinions of Intel Corp. Two more very mundane questions. There are 4 versions of the 2.4.19 patches. Do I apply all of them or simply the latest ( patch-futex-2.4.19-2.0.3-2 )? Also is there a Kernel option I can select from the Menuconfig screen to enable the NGPT support or do I simply just recompile? - Satoshi [email protected] _______________________________________________ pthreads-users mailing list [email protected] http://www-124.ibm.com/developerworks/oss/mailman/listinfo/pthreads-user s
