I installed the latest rpm's and confirmed that the tests including the one Bill posted to allocate over 4000 threads worked and they all pass and work (also noticable performance improvements with test_str03). However my kernel is NOT using ngpt, it looks like the kernel is linking with so.0 and not .so if I make a symlink from .0 to the ngpt the kernel does use it however other programs that rely on so.0 to point to 0.9 start to fail. What can I do to have the kernel use the so without so.0 being used or is there something wrong with my configuration? Steven
