Bill, I have installed 1.9.0 on my test box and the test_str03 -d 5 -b 5 fails with a segfault. Although make test works with no problems. I have also tested siege compiled with linuxthreads against tux in the kernel. The performance is excellent but eventually I will get exceptions in siege or in the kernels scheduler itself. On a good note the same test run with ngpt 1.9.0 ran for over two hours but was easyly at least 50% slower. With tux I was serving a .html and about 40 images to siege. Maybe this is a way you can help tune 1.9.x for use with the kernel. I was also hoping you could help me with something, my understanding that was after installing ngpt if I recompiled the kernel, etc it too would use it? Is there a way to verify that it's not using linuxthreads .9 and instead 1.9? Steven
