vlan support broken?

I'm afraid that VLAN (802.1q) support is broken in latest Owl
(2.6.18-238.1.1.el5.028stab084.3.owl1). I check three drivers
(e100, eepro100, tg3) on two different cards - without success.

Kernel compiled from sources taken from Gremlin's ftp (2.6.32.25)
works fine. 

I'm not sure where problem is located - I have another OpenVZ
system with kernel 2.6.18-194.3.1.el5.028stab069.6 taken from
official OVZ repo - with working vlans.
