Re: operf equivalent of --save?

Hi Jon,

there is no "--save" option in operf, you can only use the "--session-dir"
option ("-d" in short form). It does almost the same thing, since opcontrol
legacy mode stores data in /var/lib/oprofile/samples/<session>, where the
default one is "current" and when you do the "opcontrol --save=something",
opcontrol just moves the /var/lib/oprofile/samples/current directory to
/var/lib/oprofile/samples/something. So generally, it's almost the same
thing as using the operf's "--session-dir" option.
