If a driver were known to work, then the card would be listed as
"supported".  That's the reason for having that list ;)

There is a section in the PCMCIA-HOWTO entitled "Dealing with
unsupported cards".  There are a limited number of drivers, and it
should not take more than a few minutes to just do the experiment.
