Hello, I bought the netgear MA401RA pcmcia wireless card, because it is listed in the SUPPORTED.CARDS. I installed the latest pcmcia_cs distribution (3.2.1) and can't get it to work. The driver (orinoco_cs) loads fine, the device eth0 is up, but when I ping any other machine in reach, or any other IP of the wireless Net I get following errormessages: eth1: Error -110 writing Tx descriptor to BAP NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth1: transmit timed out eth1: Tx timeout! Resetting card. ALLOCFID=ffff, TXCOMPLFID=ffff, EVSTAT=8000 I then tried a orinoco card, and it worked without a problem. I also tried to use the yenta_socket driver, without any success. The same with linux-wlan-ng. Any idea? Hinrich. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf
