If builded without PAM support propagate $DISPLAY and $XAUTHORITY enviroment variables. Based on http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/sys-apps/shadow/files/shadow-4.0.4.1-su-pam_open_sess Your /etc/pam.d/su is affected by lack of using session modules. Exapmple correct file is in etc/pam.d/su in shadow source tree. In this case your /etc/pam.d/su file can be fixed for example by adding on bottom line: session required pam_env.so kloczek -- ----------------------------------------------------------- *Ludzie nie majÂą problemĂłw, tylko sobie sami je stwarzajÂą* ----------------------------------------------------------- Tomasz KÂłoczko, sys adm @zie.pg.gda.pl|*e-mail: [email protected]*
