A new patch providing support for the Intel XScale-PXA2xx
architecture to the ARM Linux kernel as just been released.
The patch is available from:
ftp://source.mvista.com/pub/xscale/pxa/
ftp://ftp.arm.linux.org.uk/pub/linux/arm/people/nico/
Build Documentation:
http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/docs/kerncomp.shtml
ChangeLog:
- updated to 2.5.70-rmk1 (me, Dustin McIntire)
- fix for syscall stubs clobbering returned error code (me)
- updated PXA CPU frequency scaling support (Dustin McIntire)
[adds support for both performance and powersave frequency policies]
- PXA i2c drivers forwardported from 2.4.19-rmk7-pxa2 (Dustin McIntire)
- PXA target for SA1100 RTC driver (Dustin McIntire)
- cleaned up PCMCIA support for Lubbock (me)
[apparently not fully functional yet, feel free to help]
- updated smc91x to latest version (me)
- Lubbock usb disconnect irq (David Brownell)
- more irq fixes (Dustin McIntire)
- SA1111 mapping (me)
Again, feel free to help porting and cleaning drivers from 2.4.x.
The 2.5.x/2.6.x branch is the future while 2.4.x is a dead end.
Nicolas
