A new patch providing support for the Intel XScale-PXA2xx
architecture to the ARM Linux kernel as just been released.
The patch is available from:
ftp://source.mvista.com/pub/xscale/pxa/
ftp://ftp.arm.linux.org.uk/pub/linux/arm/people/nico/
Build Documentation:
http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/docs/kerncomp.shtml
ChangeLog:
- updated to 2.6.0-test2-rmk1 (me)
- new USB "gadget" controller driver for PXA2xx (David Brownell)
- some more fixes to the SMC91x driver (Ian Campbell)
- AC97 GPIO access (Liam Girdwood)
- dropped serial core changes (me)
[ ... since serial maintainer didn't show much interest in them ]
- changed serial/pxa.c according to the above (me)
- more irqreturn_t stuff (me)
This patch is more a synch point since not many new things happened for a
while but the previous patch was getting quite old and behind.
Again, many things currently working in 2.4 need fixing/cleaning for 2.6.
If you don't know what to do some day this is the perfect opportunity for
you to get involved in the 2.6 work. Don't wait for me to do it all since I
won't (hint hint). ;-)
Enjoy!
Nicolas
