USB slave device in Linux?

Hello,
I have AT91SAM9263 board and Angstrom Linux installed with 2.6.27 kernel. I need USB slave device to be working with computer for sending and receiving data. The current system with AT90USB AVR working as HID device and I want to port the system to ARM9. Anyone tried to connect PC USB master to ARM9 USB slave in Linux? Maybe someone have a manual or something to help me? Thanks.
