Regarding UART problem

Hi As i made uart driver using xr20m1172 chip using i2c communication.But i am not able to receive more than 64 bytes.Revive interrupt is not coming for more than 64 bytes.And tty overrun error is coming while i am trying to recieve more than 64 bytes. What may be the problem? Can somebody will tell.?
