No need to be insulting. Your questions at the end of August are off topic on this list, which is why they never got answered by anyone. If you ask off-topic questions, you can expect not to receive a reply (because there may be no one with the knowledge on the list, or no one wishing to encourage the pollution of a list with replies to off-topic questions.) It's a bit like going to see your doctor because your gas boiler has broken, and expecting your doctor to be able to tell you how to fix it. Maybe he could if he was also a qualified gas-safe registered engineer but that's highly unlikely to be the case. linux-arm has _always_ been more for userspace discussions, but you're right that it doesn't serve much purpose anymore, and it's now a low traffic list. If you want to know about *kernel* stuff, you *have* to ask on the list where *kernel* people hang out. The list you want is linux-arm-kernel, not linux-arm.
