As soon as we have a swap driver for ARAM, we would have ~ 40 MB. I 
don't think native KDE is impossible. Just not too fast. Gnome should 
be better.

I don't agree. I have been working with X over a 10 MBit connection for 
a long time. Using the GIMP is no good idea, but everything else is 
fine. Just don't use themes that use too many colours.
