mmmh must be.... even after a complete clean recompile...same
problem :/ looks like __powerpc__ isnt defined at all (but it
should be i suppose)... i'd guess that this causes all sorta
funny problems so uhm....how to fix? :)

ps: also... could someone please tell me the boot options for using
a nfs-root (missing in stevens guide unfortunatly)... i really dont
want to run a DHCP server either if possible...mmh :)
