I'm interested in giving this a shot.  So, I took a look at 
http://gclib.sourceforge.net/doc/, and the only mention of the 
broadband adaptor I see is at:

    http://gclib.sourceforge.net/doc/GC__EXI_8h.html#a30

The slashdot story is what sparked my interest in this project - that 
is to say, I'm not terribly familiar with any of this yet.  What part, 
specifically, of GCLIB needs to be ported?
