It would be great if this would work. I meant to try it but I don't know enough about NFS yet. If you want to try another solution, you can use coLinux as an NFS server. I went as far as setting it up as an NFS server on my pc, but I got sidetracked :) and never got to actually plugging my cube into it. I think you'll have an easier time with coLinux. Just remember to use bridged networking.
