Yes, it should be enough to copy the CVS data over vanilla 2.6.1. Some 
people have been talking about the "linuxppc" kernel, but the CVS uses 
the standard kernel.

The .config is located in arch/ppc/configs/gamecube_defconfig. Copy it 
to ".config".

It will create a arch/ppc/boot/images/zImage.elf. Using "doltool -d" 
you can create a .dol.

There is some preliminary interrupt code. EXI and BBA would be 
important drivers now, as well as support for loading an initrd.
