difference between MOL 0.9.68 and MOL 0.9.7

Hi, I work in a research environment. We installed MOL to have a MAC that immulates more than one MAC at a time. We installed MOL 0.9.68 that came in the Madrake 9.1 distribution and everything work ok, but the only thing that we can't get to work is to receive a telnet or ftp from another machine. All the software on MAC is installed for it to work. It can ping no problem but when you try a ftp or telnet it does not work. If you check with ethereal you see the syn and synack but then it just dies. In my testing that i do, I need to be able to ftp and telnet the machines i am working on. All this to ask if in the newest version of MOL this networking problem would be resolved.
