No, not really.  We noticed it around 2.6.9 though, with some people 
having no problems and others with issues.  I assume it's scheduler 
related since getting rid of the priority changes fixed the problem and 
didn't seem to cause any issues for other users.

Compiling MOL isn't that hard, but I would suggest that if you do have 
problems with it, feel free to pass the patch and the Gentoo bug 
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75254 to the Ubuntu package 
maintainer.
