how to install MOL

Hello,

I am relatively new to Linux and MOL. I have a Powerbook g4
with Ubuntu (5.04) on one partition and OS X Tiger on the
other partition. I would like to know how I should go about
installing MOL. I downloaded 

mol-0.9.70.tgz
The complete source as a tar archive.

But I don't know what to do with it from there. Any help would
be great.
