Yup.  3.3 release manager requests to queue the formar for 3.3.5
and the same for the latter if once it's approved to 3.4.1.  These
are absolutely safe for 3.3.4.

I believe that NPTL is the way to go and it has very nice features
for emmbeded machines, though it might be originally developed for
the large machines.

It's a headache and also a sad thing.  Now it's very hard to
get DC&BBA and the evaluation boards are usually very expensive.
In Japan, fortunately, there are products like

which can be used as an sh-linux box.  But it might be hard to
find such ones in another contries.
