SUNW,start-cpu documentation?

Dear mailing list: I have an E4500 and am trying to figure out the details of how kernel code activates/deactivates processors, how it loads CPU contexts into them and so forth, with a view of writing multiprocessor assembly code that runs directly under the Open Firmware. I've been reading through the Sun documentation and the Linux source code, and found that basically what I need to do is use Open Firmware calls like SUNW,start-cpu and friends. Is there any document that describes these? By the way, I have read the IEEE Open Firmware spec and there is no mention of these commands. Neither does docs.sun.com have any indication of how these work (or even that they exist!) I have the UltraSparc user's manual, but of course that's no help since it doesn't cover the Open Firmware.
