There were a couple of problems with having multiple kernel options (a couple still exist, but the main one is solved). The icon-menu was very inflexible - previously, you could have four items, and they are statically created. Hence, having more than one fatx, or more than one, native option, is slightly problematic. Let alone, more than four ;) The 'redone' icon menu can have unlimited numbers of icons, with you being able to scroll left and right through them, if there are more than four. They can also be added at runtime, so parsing linuxboot.cfg and adding an icon per 'bootoption' within it is possible. There is also an embryonic heirarchical text menu system, which is not yet finished. The linuxboot.cfg 'parser' needs upgrading to handle multiple kernel/initrd combos, but there's no huge obstacle to this work. If anyone is interested in helping with this, do let me know, and I'll be happy to give some pointers. Otherwise, it's somewhere on my to-do list, but I can't promise anything fixed.
