OpenXDK and BIOS

Thanks to the help I received here a while ago, I have managed to release  
a GCC compilable version of the OpenXDK.  Now, I am struggling against a  
problem where OpenXDK applications won't run on modchips with the xecuter  
BIOSes.

I asked around to the Xecuter folk, but haven't really found any good  
information as to what the problem is.  I thought perhaps the Cromwell  
developers might have some ideas.  At this stage, I don't know even know  
whether it is a problem with OpenXDK or the BIOS - let alone how I might  
be able to resolve it.

Any thoughts, pointers, wild guesses :-) would be much appreciated.
