Hallo, meanwhile, we solved the problem: One should really take care not to add both the XPAD ID AND the HUB ID to the list in xpads.c: If the HUB ID is also in this list, Cromwell will find it while checking the HUB ID (what is unintended) and won't check for the XPAD ID anymore. [email protected] schrieb am 29.04.05 00:32:23: > > OK, > here is the dump from lsusb (we found two xpads which are not working even when adding the IDs). Further debugging showed that the "new" XPAD is detected in the list and a pointer to the corresponing struct (within the array of structs) is returned from function usb_match_id() (in usb.c). I have not been able up to now to figure out how this information is further used. Nevertheless, here is the dump: > > HAMA XPAD: > Bus 001 Device 008: ID 0f30:001c Jess Technology Co., Ltd > Device Descriptor: > bLength 18 > bDescriptorType 1 > bcdUSB 1.10 > bDeviceClass 9 Hub > bDeviceSubClass 0 > bDeviceProtocol 0 > bMaxPacketSize0 8 > idVendor 0x0f30 Jess Technology Co., Ltd > idProduct 0x001c > bcdDevice 3.12 > iManufacturer 0 > iProduct 0 > iSerial 0 > bNumConfigurations 1 > Configuration Descriptor: > bLength 9 > bDescriptorType 2 > wTotalLength 25 > bNumInterfaces 1 > bConfigurationValue 1 > iConfiguration 0 > bmAttributes 0xa0 > Remote Wakeup > MaxPower 100mA > Interface Descriptor: > bLength 9 > bDescriptorType 4 > bInterfaceNumber 0 > bAlternateSetting 0 > bNumEndpoints 1 > bInterfaceClass 9 Hub > bInterfaceSubClass 0 > bInterfaceProtocol 0 > iInterface 0 > Endpoint Descriptor: > bLength 7 > bDescriptorType 5 > bEndpointAddress 0x81 EP 1 IN > bmAttributes 3 > Transfer Type Interrupt > Synch Type none > wMaxPacketSize 1 > bInterval 255 > > Bus 001 Device 009: ID 0f30:0208 Jess Technology Co., Ltd > Device Descriptor: > bLength 18 > bDescriptorType 1 > bcdUSB 1.10 > bDeviceClass 0 (Defined at Interface level) > bDeviceSubClass 0 > bDeviceProtocol 0 > bMaxPacketSize0 64 > idVendor 0x0f30 Jess Technology Co., Ltd > idProduct 0x0208 > bcdDevice 3.12 > iManufacturer 1 Jess Technology Co., Ltd. > iProduct 2 XBOX&PC Gamepad > iSerial 0 > bNumConfigurations 1 > Configuration Descriptor: > bLength 9 > bDescriptorType 2 > wTotalLength 32 > bNumInterfaces 1 > bConfigurationValue 1 > iConfiguration 0 > bmAttributes 0x80 > MaxPower 100mA > Interface Descriptor: > bLength 9 > bDescriptorType 4 > bInterfaceNumber 0 > bAlternateSetting 0 > bNumEndpoints 2 > bInterfaceClass 88 > bInterfaceSubClass 66 > bInterfaceProtocol 0 > iInterface 0 > Endpoint Descriptor: > bLength 7 > bDescriptorType 5 > bEndpointAddress 0x81 EP 1 IN > bmAttributes 3 > Transfer Type Interrupt > Synch Type none > wMaxPacketSize 64 > bInterval 4 > Endpoint Descriptor: > bLength 7 > bDescriptorType 5 > bEndpointAddress 0x02 EP 2 OUT > bmAttributes 3 > Transfer Type Interrupt > Synch Type none > wMaxPacketSize 64 > bInterval 4 > Language IDs: (length=4) > 0409 English(US) > > NYKO AIRFLO: > Bus 001 Device 010: ID 0c12:8801 Zeroplus > Device Descriptor: > bLength 18 > bDescriptorType 1 > bcdUSB 1.10 > bDeviceClass 9 Hub > bDeviceSubClass 0 > bDeviceProtocol 0 > bMaxPacketSize0 8 > idVendor 0x0c12 Zeroplus > idProduct 0x8801 > bcdDevice 0.01 > iManufacturer 0 > iProduct 1 Zeroplus > iSerial 0 > bNumConfigurations 1 > Configuration Descriptor: > bLength 9 > bDescriptorType 2 > wTotalLength 25 > bNumInterfaces 1 > bConfigurationValue 1 > iConfiguration 0 > bmAttributes 0xa0 > Remote Wakeup > MaxPower 64mA > Interface Descriptor: > bLength 9 > bDescriptorType 4 > bInterfaceNumber 0 > bAlternateSetting 0 > bNumEndpoints 1 > bInterfaceClass 9 Hub > bInterfaceSubClass 0 > bInterfaceProtocol 0 > iInterface 0 > Endpoint Descriptor: > bLength 7 > bDescriptorType 5 > bEndpointAddress 0x81 EP 1 IN > bmAttributes 3 > Transfer Type Interrupt > Synch Type none > wMaxPacketSize 1 > bInterval 255 > Language IDs: (length=4) > 0409 English(US) > > Bus 001 Device 011: ID 0c12:8802 Zeroplus > Device Descriptor: > bLength 18 > bDescriptorType 1 > bcdUSB 1.10 > bDeviceClass 0 (Defined at Interface level) > bDeviceSubClass 0 > bDeviceProtocol 0 > bMaxPacketSize0 8 > idVendor 0x0c12 Zeroplus > idProduct 0x8802 > bcdDevice 0.01 > iManufacturer 0 > iProduct 1 Zeroplus > iSerial 0 > bNumConfigurations 1 > Configuration Descriptor: > bLength 9 > bDescriptorType 2 > wTotalLength 32 > bNumInterfaces 1 > bConfigurationValue 1 > iConfiguration 0 > bmAttributes 0x80 > MaxPower 100mA > Interface Descriptor: > bLength 9 > bDescriptorType 4 > bInterfaceNumber 0 > bAlternateSetting 0 > bNumEndpoints 2 > bInterfaceClass 88 > bInterfaceSubClass 66 > bInterfaceProtocol 0 > iInterface 0 > Endpoint Descriptor: > bLength 7 > bDescriptorType 5 > bEndpointAddress 0x82 EP 2 IN > bmAttributes 3 > Transfer Type Interrupt > Synch Type none > wMaxPacketSize 32 > bInterval 4 > Endpoint Descriptor: > bLength 7 > bDescriptorType 5 > bEndpointAddress 0x02 EP 2 OUT > bmAttributes 3 > Transfer Type Interrupt > Synch Type none > wMaxPacketSize 32 > bInterval 4 > Language IDs: (length=4) > 0409 English(US) > > > > > [email protected] schrieb am 28.04.05 02:09:45: > > > > On Wednesday 27 April 2005 23:17, sili con wrote: > > > Hi everybody, > > > > > > can anybody tell me how to add new XPADS to the Cromwell.
