I know this isn't at all Xbox-Linux related, but since we're on the subject of LBA48 + partition tables (apologies to anyone who may be annoyed by this): For anyone who is interested, I've put together a .zip with my LBA48 patches/misc info (just a snapshot of the code from when I developed it - I'm not 100% sure of the 'state' of the code). This .zip contains everything needed to patch *YOUR* MS KERNEL BIOS image. It also contains some .txt files with info on the patch process, and minimal info on the partition table format. Again, not directly related to Linux (it's Microsoft Xbox Kernel stuff). But, it may be helpful for Xbox-Linux interop with the LBA48-patched Xbox Kernels that are out there. **THIS .ZIP CONTAINS ZERO MICROSOFT CODE - AND IS COMPLETELY LEGAL** You can grab it from: http://www.paulbhome.com/lba48/lba48_patch_source.030901d_with_nasm.zip It's a complete package, with some utilities to help with patching. So, it's sort of big (3.6MBytes - includes modified "nasm" assembler distribution) - even though the patch source itself is pretty tiny (24KBytes assembly source code). Use it at your own risk. I'm releasing it now for informational/historical purposes (since I don't think I ever got around to officially 'releasing' it back when I developed it). - Paulb ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Yahoo.
