Hello everyone!

I have done some work on the website system, and I just want you
inform you about what I have done, what is new now and what problems
there are still.

In order to solve the speed problem, I have disabled upgraded
MediaWiki to 1.4.6 and changed all URL to read http://www.xbox-
linux.org/wiki/* instead of http://www.xbox-linux.org/*. The site
should be a lot faster now.

But there are some very weird cacheing problems with the SourceForge
servers. These are the two problems:
* Some pages I (and others) get include links to http://www.xbox-
linux.org/xbox/ - for some time yesterday, the files had been in that
directory. All instances have been deleted from the PHP code, but the
servers sometimes still seem to send old cached copies.
* Editing when you are logged in sometimes does not work. When you
clock "Save", you only get a preview. I have no idea why this
happens. It happens sometimes, not always. If I use a different
browser, it might work. Cacheing as well?
* Sometimes protecting or unprotecting a page does not work, it just
returns to the "confirm" page.
* The watchlist does not seem to work. I get SQL errors.

So anyone who is interested is invited to play around with the
website, report more problems and find solutions to existing problems.

   Michael
