Hi! As you might know, I am still looking for the information how to set the base address for the GPU on the shared-memory nForce/Xbox architecture, so that we can set up standard B800:0000-style text modes in the Xbox. I uploaded the nForce 220/420 VGA ROM and its disassembly to http:// xbox-linux.org/down/nforce/ - we would need to find code there that finds out how much RAM is installed. I check for the "int" instruction, but none seemed like it checked the available system RAM. On the other hand, perhaps the VGA hardware is not aware of this at all, and this must be configured in the chipset - perhaps inside the APG-to-PCI bridge? I'll have a look at that, if anyone else is interested, please also have a look at it. I also put together some more information and links about the nForce/ Xbox chipset at: http://www.xbox-linux.org/wiki/NForce Feel free to contribute!
