Corrected/updated version:

* communicate with an electronic device (special made ir receiver) by
I2C (I2C in software over I/O from a special modchip)
* decode IR code lenght received by the electorinc device over I2C,
generate rules, show IR codes as oscilogram and may produce LIRC
style Files ...
Requirements:
* must run on the Xbox, with a certain IR receiver
* must be an XBE
* must be XDK-free, i.e. either a Linux app or OS-free
* must use graphics mode to draw simple IR diagrams (vector graphics
for showing IR-Codes)
* should be small (~<10 MB), i.e. a full-blown Linux with X Window
might not be a good approach.

If you are interested, write to me (not the mailing list), and I'll
forward your email. :-)
