Hi S=E9bastien,

I just updated my kernel to 2.6.8. Seemed to go pretty well. Thanks for=20
the work you did on updating the Wiki.

I'm using a 1.1 Xbox with 200GB harddrive and PC DVDWriter. Been going=20
for just over 1 week.

Some parts that differed from the Wiki were:

1) Libncursers-dev --- I used libncurses5 && libncurses5-dev.
2) usbkeyb --- The Keyboard Module for 2.6.8 =3D usbkbd
I recommend that people add in the usbmouse and usbkbd into the=20
modules.xbox file and leave the others in there, at least until new=20
kernel is default.
3) I had to add hotplug support, bootup whined about something at first=20
until I did. I chose to compile in, rather than module.

Freevo still boots up and the screen is ok, I haven't tested movie=20
playback though, but my install needs some work to align screen and get=20
colours correct.

The chipset in my 1.1 is connexant. I think I'd guess that maybe it is=20
the chipset that causes problems in your kernel upgrade.

I might sign up and edit the Wiki article if you think that's ok?

Cheers,
Karl
