With the acquisition of a massive video repository and the blessings of major media companies, it's safe to say that they now have the supply. Companies try to patent digital signage and kiosk 'innovations' all the time, and most of what they're claiming is either blatantly obvious or has been around for years prior to the filing date. something that makes them watchable. When we talk about experiential and branding networks, we're referring to digital signage displays that are designed to increase the impact of the host's brand and what it stands for. Even that will be a tall order, though, as we've talked about in past articles including "measuring traffic on the sales floor" and "bringing affiliate pricing models to the retail space.
