I've been using my Photosmart 8450 successfully for quite a while under FC3 via hpijs. Snagging the right ppd and configuring it right under CUPS seemed straightforward and photo printing with GIMP worked great (even got great color calibrations worked out). Now, after upgrading to FC5 and the latest hpijs/hplip/cups and getting GIMP 2.2 in the process I'm hitting a roadblock I can't figure out. I still see my media types as before in GIMP's print dialog (coming from the 8450 PPD file) but now when I go to print to any media smaller than full page the printer immediately pauses with a front panel error advising of paper size mis-match (telling me to disengage the photo tray). I've even updated the PPD to the latest I can find with no change -- full-page test pages print perfectly, photos printed via GIMP to smaller media now failed. Current yum-provided rev's are as followed: hpijs-0.9.11-1.2 hplip-0.9.11-1.2 Any advice greatly appreciated. Regards, Bill
