I am working with LINUX REDHAT ES 4.0 and I have added an HP laserjet 1150 as a
JetDirect printer, I used the following drivers:
- "Text Only printer" driver
NOTE. It prints all but spanish chars are substituted by senseless ones.
- Postcript printer
NOTE: this one doesn't work at all, just sends trash to printer
- The drivers recommended for the specific laserjet 1150 model
NOTE: printing stops when reaching the firs spanish char.
In all cases I tried editing the driver setting the following flags on:
- Assume Unknown data as text.
- pre-render
NOTE: Nothing changes.
Summary: in all cases spanish characters such as ´ñ, á, é, í, ó, etc do not get
printed.
Can anybody advise?
thanks in advance
Daniel T.
