Hi David,

I have no experience with Macs, but this printer uses the PCL3 enhanced 
language and so you should get some degree of printing support if you 
choose an option under "Generic", instead of "HP".

Scanning is not supported by Gutenprint, so you will need to look 
elsewhere for possible  support.
