Problem with getting a Canon Selphy CP790 to work on Mac OSX

Hello, I’d be very happy if you can help me getting a Canon Selphy CP790 to work on Mac OSX. I tried in two systems (OSX 10.14 and OSX 10.13) but I wasn’t successful. The Printer is connected via USB-Cable It is recognised in the System Preferences as CP790 on a USB-Port I can choose the Printer in the Preview-Program or any other Program that can print.
