Made a last-minute bugfix to the backend, possible to include in 5.3.4? (especially for MacOS)

The SELPHY CP790 has apparently been broken for most of the 5.3.4
development cycle. It's now fixed and confirmed working, but that
obviously post-dates the 5.3.4 "release" tarball and the MacOS builds
built from it.

Given that we haven't officially announced 5.3.4 yet, can we get this
fix in a 5.3.4a tarball, and build the final MacOS packages from that?

(I routinely have Linux users grab the latest backend code and just
rebuild that, but that isn't an option for MacOS users)

If we intend to routinely generate MacOS snapshot installers from
snapshot tarballs, this question is moot. :)

Thanks,

 - Solomon
