Gutenprint supports Epson printers using ESCP2, but most ESCPR printers also support ESCP2. It's quite possible that the Stylus C82 driver will work with this printer; if it doesn't, there are other drivers that may. Support for head alignment is a different matter. It's possible that escputil will work (specifying the C82), but a lot of newer printers either don't support head alignment or use a different mechanism than older ones.
