Were you able to install the drivers from the download? 2. Were you able to install your printer from the Printers and Scanners System Preferences? The 2020 Mac mini uses Apple's new M1 chip set rather than the Intel processer 1. Do you know if you have installed Rosetta 2? That is the translator the Apple uses to run Intel code on the new computers. Without having that installed, Gutenprint will not run. 2. If you didn't install Rosetta or are unsure, you can install it manually. a. Open the Terminal.app (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app ) b. Make sure you are running as an administrator. The first user account set up after you started using the new computer will be an administrator account. Now copy the following into the Terminal window: sudo /usr/sbin/softwareupdate --install-rosetta Then just follow the prompts. You will need to agree to a user agreement. I think the answer to your problem is in one of the steps above. Please let us know if you need further assistance. Please be as specific a possible with any error message, etc Matt _______________________________________________ Gimp-print-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gimp-print-devel
