Thanks for your quick answer.

Now, how would I go about to check, at least in my printer, if there’s any (and how much) benefit from printing beyond 2880x2880, and what should I expect?

Also: what’s the ideal resolution to send to the printer, as in pixel resolution, not dithered images?
