Excellent.  But, as I'm sure you'll discover, while you're now 90% of 
the way there, tuning and tweaking will take up the second 90%..

There are several other models that are in a similar situation.

Pretty much any time is fine.  But I strongly suggest you strip out all 
of the all of the autogenerated stuff from your working repository as it 
will make submitting patches a lot easier.
