I *think* Robert used the prefix STP because the first drivers he worked on were for the EPSON Stylus Photo printer (STP), but I'm not 100% sure.  That all got done after Robert took over the original Gimp-Print plugin I did (the "before before times") and I've only had a sporadic involvement since then...
