I do not know what version of MX Linux you are running (or what=20
gutenprint version it includes) but this particular bug was corrected=20
more than two years ago (August 2023), and the fix is inluded in=20
Gutenprint 5.3.5 (released early 2025)

Alternatively, you could build just the selphy_print backend.  See "get=20
the latest selphy_print code" portion of this post:
