Hi Craig,

Were you aware that our 3.3.16 version appears as 'UNKNOWN' under Debian 
Bullseye and Ubuntu 20.04 Beta?

But, under openSUSE Tumbleweed, Archlinux and Slackware it is shown 
properly.

Looks like that 2012 'git-version-gen' file is in need of updating.
