Hi Craig,

Thanks for holding off on the above changes.  Attached are the revised 
versions.

Actually, other than re-dating, the only patch that changed was #0004.

In the original version, the 'end' (display-side) semaphores were made 
impotent.  The sem_wait() was issued only if the associated data was 
being shown, instead of unconditionally.

Anyway, the attached set corrects that error.
